ESE: 1304 DAYS SAFARI. SAMBURU - ABERDARE – LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA.
Day 01 Nairobi - Samburu
Depart from Nairobi at 0730 Hours heading north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands with coffee, plantain, wheat among other plantations and horticulture farms. Pass the Equator and the cool central highlands and descend to the wildlife rich northern savanna woodlands.
Arrive in Samburu game reserve in time for lunch and afternoon game drive.

Day 02 Samburu
Spend the full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game viewing drive included. During the hot day you can choose to visit the local communities living adjacent to this game reserve or relax by the swimming pool.

Day 03 Samburu – Aberdare
Breakfast and drive back to the Central highlands. Arrive in Nyeri town, the provincial administrative center of the central region of Kenya.
Check in to either Outspan or Aberdare country club which the base hotels for Treetops and The Ark respectively.
After Lunch at 1430 hours you will be transferred to the main hotels in Aberdare National Park. Both The Ark and Treetops are elevated and have balconies that provide good view and photography of wildlife from nearby saltlick/waterhole and open fields.

Day 04 Aberdare – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive via Thomson falls and enter the Great Rift Valley into the flamingo pink Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch and game viewing drive in the afternoon.

Day 05 Nakuru – Masai Mara
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley and conspicuous Masailand plains into the world famous Masai Mara Game reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game viewing drive.

Day 06 Masai Mara
Full day in the game reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Depending on the weather and animal pattern, a full day drive with picnic lunch can be an option.

Day 07 Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast depart the Mara and arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch.
