Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania
We are grateful for an incredible safari experience in Tanzania. We visited the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti before flying to Zanzibar. Emmanuel, our safari guide was excellent. He took his time to find us all the animals that we wanted to see, and also to share his wildlife knowledge. Essenia safari recommended a Hot Air Balloon flight which turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Their choice of Ole Serai Tented Camp in Serengeti was the best. They have spacious, luxury tents and the views were stunning. The staff was amazing, treated us so well and God Bless, our dedicated waiter made our stay special. Thank you to all of you for making our honeymoon safari special.

Este septiembre por fin he hecho realidad unos de mis grandes suenos, visitar y conocer Kenia, toda una aventura. Despues de mucho buscar, encontre esta pagina y contrate un safari con ellos; he viajado sola con un guia y os aseguro que el viaje ha sido de los mejores, por no decir el mejor de mi vida. Desde los alojamientos en los que he estado, la gente que he conocido, la manera de tratarme y sobre todo, los parques que he visitado, con una amplia variedad de animales, ademas de pajaros que era mi principal interes. En fin, un experiencia para repetir, porque aunque a veces parece que lo has visto todo, siempre descubres algo nuevo…os lo recomiendo, tanto el viaje como las personas que lo han organizado…un saludo a todos.

Excellent Service Delivery, Memorable family safari
Dear Sam, First, my apologies for a delay in giving my feedback. We are safely back in Muscat. The kids are back to school. We take this opportunity to thank you and Gerald our safari guide for arranging and delivering an amazing safari experience for my large family. Everything from the choice of hotels to day to day planning was excellent. Kiboko Luxury Camp and Mara Serena Lodge were the best of all the places we stayed.
Gerald was unrelenting in his efforts to find us all the animals, and always ready to share information on wildlife and nature. He made my kids love safari despite the fact that they were not keen to visit Africa, in favour of Europe. We also loved the brand-new safari jeep that you allocated us. Gorilla Tracking, Chimpanzee Habituation and The Wildebeest Migration
Many thanks to Mr.Sam Waweru,of Essenia Safari Experts Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya,for drafting out the fantastic customized tour itinerary to Kenya, Ugnada & Zambia. My wife,Kripa,drafted out the plan of what things to do in these places & Sam did a wonderful job. Thanks also to Chirag Maru,of Travel Point LLC(vacations division),Muscat, Oman,for his efforts in coordinating the tour plan. The tour plan was to see the GREAT MIGRATION,THE BIG 5,FALMINGOS(all in Kenya)
Had an excellent guide in Deedan in Kenya. HE not just greeted us on arrival with a placard but had a huge welcome smile and this really made us feel at home.He did a great job in being perfect host & showed us what we had gone to see.
We stayed at the Base camp, Masai Mara & Flamingo Hill camp,Nakuru.the accommodation was really good & in commune with nature & the hospitality of staff par excellence.A big thank you to all the staff in these lodges for making our stay a wondereful experience.
All in all, a great tour which we will cherish in our lifetime. We would give an overall 5 star rating
THE BEST TIME TO SEE THE BIG5 AND THE GREAT MIGRATION IN KENYA-JULY/AUGUST
In Uganda, Sam recommended that we visit Kibale National Park where they arranged for a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, then Queen Elizabeth followed by Gorilla tracking in Uganda. Had an excellent guide in Ahmed in Uganda. He not just greeted us on arrival with a placard but had a huge welcome smile and this really made us feel at home. He did a great job in being perfect host

Mi nombre es Adelardo Domínguez, y este verano después de mucho mirar y buscar agencias de confianza para realizar un safari con mi novia decidi reservar con Essenia Safaris.Contacté directamente desde España con Karanja Evans y en todo momento me aconsejó para que el viaje cumpliese mis espectativas.Tras muchos correos por fin cerramos todos los detalles y he de decir que todo lo que se prometió se cumplió e incluso mejoró ya que desde el primer momento Karanja estuvo muy pendiente de que todo estuviese a nuestro gusto.
Pasando al tema más importe, el safari, he de decir que durante los diez dias que estuvimos con él, vimos todos los animales posibles ya que es un gran guía y se preocupa muchísimo para que puedas disfrutar de toda la fauna Keniata.Mi experiencia personal fué inmejorable, por el trato y la profesionalidad de Karanja, gran profesional y mejor persona.Espero que algún dia podamos repetir la aventura, aprovecho para enviarle a Karanja un abrazo y agradecerle nuevamente su paciencia y la manera en que nos hizo disfrutar de su tierra.

Somos un grupo de cuatro Castellano-Leonesas, que en el mes de Octubre viajamos a Kenia, tras ver varias ofertas de otras agencias contactamos y elegimos a ”Essenia Safari Experts”, nos ofrecían un itinerario de safaris adecuado al tiempo que disponíamos y a nuestra economía, por lo que optamos realizar el viaje con ellos.
Visitamos tres parques el Lago Naivasha, el Lago Nakuru y el Masai Mara y es verdad todo lo que relatan otros viajeros, hacen que te sientas deslumbrado entre los animales y naturaleza, es algo indescriptible y el que queden estos buenísimos recuerdos se debe en gran parte a como te lo muestren.
El conductor-guía nos informaba en perfecto español, sobre los parques, el hábitat de los animales, su forma de vivir, cazar, alimentarse, gestaciones etc…..y no solo buscaba y nos mostraba los animales lo más cerca posible, vamos a dos pasos, es que además lo hacia con un cuidado extremo para no molestarles y respetando el entorno. Examinaba donde colocarse para que las fotografias nos quedaran perfectas.
Fue un gran acierto elegir “Essenia Safari”, pues es una empresa con excelentes profesionales, el recibimiento y paciencia por parte de Paul, la insuperable organización de Evans y Niko nuestro inseparable conductor-guía, simpático, amable, capacitado y muy competente.
Solo nos queda recomendar esta agencia por su profesionalidad, seriedad en el trabajo, formalidad con lo contratado, cordialidad y lo agradables que fueron en todo momento y situaciones. Con el deseo de volver a visitar los parques que nos quedaron pendientes, espero que no tardando mucho, me despido agradeciendo de nuevo todas las emociones, sensaciones y maravillosos momentos que nos hicisteis pasar.

El pasado octubre mi novio y yo decidimos viajar a Kenya, y como siempre solemos buscar agencias que nos hayan recomendado previamente. En esta ocasión, unos amiguetes nos hablaron muy bien de “ Essenia Safaris “ por lo que tras contactar decidimos hacer el viaje con ellos. Creo sin lugar a dudas, que ha sido uno de los mejores viajes de mi vida.
Estuvimos una semana y todo fue genial. Visitamos 4 parques : Samburu, Lago Nakuru, Masai Mara y Amboseli . ¡¡Alucinante, no tengo palabras!!. No sé si porque soy veterinaria y me encantan los bichos o por lo bien organizado que estuvo todo.Los safaris fueron impresionantes, esto es literalmente como los reportajes de la 2 que ponen después de comer: ves los animales desde muy cerca, a escasos metros de ti y los escuchas perfectamente!! El guía simpatiquísimo y además hablaba español perfectamente. Nosotros no hablamos mucho ingles y pedimos un guía de habla hispana y mister Karanja es un fenómeno hablando español y nos fue explicando todas las particularidades de cada parque!!!Los hoteles y logde estupendos , en medio de la sabana africana y con todo tipo de servicios!! Por la noche se escuchaba a veces los ruidos de los animales y resultaba flipante!!
y por último el precio, que fue la agencia más barata que encontramos y que mejor se ajustaba a lo que nosotros queriamos!!
En definitiva, que os recomiendo a todos que si queréis hacer un safari, viajéis con Essenia Safari porque seguro que venís emocionados como nosotros y os van a tratar estupendamente.
Aprovecho la ocasión para mandar un fuerte abrazo a Karanja desde España y decirle que nos hizo pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables que espero poder repitir pronto en nuevos parques!!

Hello Friends,
I met Paul the first time when he was a guide for a safari tour company 7 years ago when I went on my first safaris in Kenya. When I learned that he had his own tour company, Essenia Safari Experts last year, I was even more interested in going on another safari vacation in Kenya again with his company.
I went on a tour with Paul in Kenya and Tanzania at Christmas with the Essenia Safari tours that I had been planning with him for sometime. My 5 friends and myself wanted to plan our own tour and Paul was very pleased to help us do so. I was the person in charge of setting up the tour on this end with my friends, and arranging the details with Paul. I was also pleased to find out that his tour is in dollars and cheaper than the German tour agency. So I was saving money by working independently with Paul and Essenia.
Paul made all the reservations and plans in Kenya and Tanzania. He worked with us to meet everyone’s needs/wants. (example: someone wanted a balloon ride – he made sure we were close to one, we wanted luxurious tents, he arranged it, I wanted to buy Kenya coffee – he took me to a Nairobi grocery store, we were near Oldupai Gorge so we went). I had read about new places that I would like to see (Amboseli) and knew where I wanted to see again (reserves such as the Masai Mara). My friends had never been on a safari so they listened to me and also investigated. We must have changed our minds many times – but Paul worked with us.
Paul was so patient with us; especially at the end. Everything was set – We all met in Frankfurt, GR and were prepared to hop on the plane to take us away for a fantastic vacation. BUT this was the day of the big blizzard, we were on the runway and at 2:00 in the morning and they decided we would not make it off the ground. Emirates put us up in the hotel for the night. We left the next afternoon for where we also ended up staying all night at the hotel. (Emirates was wonderful!) So we felt we had lost 2 days of our time in Kenya. I contacted Paul via Facebook; he rescheduled hotels, tents, etc. as best as he could. It was the holiday season and only one hotel did not have room for us on one night – he booked us at another place which was much nicer! Believe me, we were worried! It turned out great though and we even stayed longer than we thought we would and paid no more money. We planned on 10 days including coming and going but it ended up being 12 days! Paul put in extra time with us instead of his family.
The van was in mint condition and well taken care of. I will send you a picture of the one we were in. It was cleaned regularly. I knew when you are in Kenya I do not drink the water (brush teeth, etc.) so I planned on money to buy water. Well, that wasn’t necessary. Paul had a cooler full of water all the time in the van and we always received it in our rooms also. Paul was a professional guide/driver with another tour company that was used by a large agency for years so I would expect that with his years of experience and education he is very competent. We trusted him. He knows the reserves, the people, the possibilities exceptionally well since this is his life.
I enjoyed this trip. I love safaris and the animals become hypnotizing. You are able to see them directly in front of you or beside the van. It is hard to imagine until you have done it. It is breathtaking!
I believe that if you travel with Paul and Essenia Safari you will never be sorry and grateful that you did! I will do it again within the next 2 years. It is my favorite country I have visited. By living and working in Europe I have visited over 15 countries and Kenya is my favorite.

Mi nombre es Arantza Urarte. Y viaje con una amiga a Kenia en diciembre 2009. Contacté con Karanja Njiiri desde España. Lei la recomendación de un viajero en el Foro de Lonely Planet. Decía mil maravillas de él asi que lo comprobé por mi misma. Corroboro enormemente sus palabras. El viaje fue fantástico. En todo momento está pendiente de tu bienestar y en tus necesidades. Al principio contraté 4 dias en el Masai Mara . Cuando llegamos el primer día, ves que es una persona muy querida entre sus compañeros “ como decía él” somos una pequeña familia.
No hay ningún peligro ya que se ayudan mucho entre ellos. La furgoneta en la que viajamos era superior a la de otras compañías además era un conductor fantástico. Como fuimos en una época que llovió hubo que pasar por barrizales pero él nunca se quedó atascado. Es más ayudamos alguna furgoneta que si se quedó atascada porque su vehículo no era tan bueno. Como la experiencia resultó ser muy grata cuando llegamos a Nairobi pensabamos estar por nuestra cuenta pero decidimos contratarle y que estuviese con nosotras visitando la ciudad, ¡fue genial!!!.
